The Community Service Initive group meets the first Tuesday of each month at the Lindale Senior Center, 3133 Swantner Drive. The phone number to the Lindale Center is 361-855-0392. The group meets at 9:30 am. Bring what supplies that you can. Pearl recently delivered some of the quilts that we make to some of the various charity organizations that we support.

We honor our military personnel by sending quilts to the families of fallen military personnel. We support Operation Homefront Qulits (started by Jessica Porter), Gold Star Families, Fort Hood families, and the families of of our own local fallen military personnel. Here are some pictures of some of those quilts.
If you would like to contact us to know more or to help or contribute fabric please call (361) 855-0815. We are a Public Charitable Organization. Projects have included providing quilts to Driscoll Children's Hospital and Ronald McDonald House, Children's Advocacy. Also, several Women's Shelters, American Cancer Society, Yourth Camps, Padre Behavioral Hospital, local nursing homes and Habitat for Humanity, in addition to donating quilts to many community services organizations to be raffled off as fund raisers. We make blankets and caps for neonatal units, dress dolls and bears for the Salavation Army, make bears for the local fire stations EMS and give to Toys for Tots. We also contribute to the Nueces, San Patricio, Aransas, Kleberg, and Kennedy County Junior Livestock Show, Homemaking Division and the San Patricio County Junior A & H Show, Homemaking Division, Awards Program.
