Community Service Initiative (CSI) meets the first Tuesday of each month beginning at 9:00 am. at Dianne’s home (call for directions - 855-0815). Dianne reports she has fabric and much underway so come join the fun. Alternatively, the group has fabric cut and ready to sew…. Or take home tops to quilt… or make donation quilts from your stash. Just get involved.
Help us make various projects for our community service. Some of our projects include providing quilts to Driscoll Children's Hospital and Ronald McDonald House, Children's Advocacy, The Women's Shelter, Padre Behavioral Hospital, local nursing homes and Habitat for Humanity. We make blankets and caps for neonatal units, dress dolls and bears for the Salvation Army, make bears for the local fire station EMS and give to Toys for Tots.
Bring your sewing tools or just bring yourself, we can use all the extra hands we can get!
